          On this relaxing break, a small group of no more than 10 people will gain an insight into the cultivation and production of corn, quinoa, sugar cane, herbs and many other products which we daily use in the preparation of food. Venues for lunch and dinner have been carefully chosen to give you the wonderful flavor of different cooking styles and techniques using ingredients from the region. You will try local specialties for which La Mirage is famous along with a range of fine Ecuadorian and South American wines and spirits.

          Set in a beautiful countryside, you will learn more about Ecuadorian cuisine and preparation by actively participating at this hands-on lively 3 hour cooking class during 4-days of your stay. We will share our secret recipes in the preparation of a variety of starters, soups, main courses and desserts. The classes take place in the kitchen of our Garden Restaurant COLIBRI, facing the main garden, where you also will enjoy the delicacies you have been preparing under the leadership of our chefs.
